With their beloved play and history of art as guidance, they continue up to now, to create artistic actions. Τhey meet with children, using their magic wand that transforms every daily moment into a unique creation.
Every day we wake up and after preparing a good breakfast, we seek for educational and at the same time enjoyable ways of connecting children with art.
We participate in the organization of artistic festivals for children, we make meaningful collaborations with contemporary artists, the development of children’s creative activities and we collaborate with any group that loves the child, play and art. All these, have helped us foster a valuable knowledge by extending the magical world of Playroom and enriching the way it expresses itself.
To whom Playroom is aimed at
It is aimed at families, educators, civic groups and institutions who want to provide children with an artistic experience by playing.
Playroom continually seeks partnership with those working to promote artistic education, creative expression and experiential education of the child, in every aspect.
Why do we prefer to learn through playing?
It is quite obvious that playing nurtures the endless world of imagination, creativity and new experiences. Using their imagination, the young creators gain a new perception and an amazing experience about art and the world.
Art is an important ally in life, through it one can express concerns, needs and feelings. It is a friend who can accompany us forever.
• We encourage children to become their own heroes, giving them the opportunity to create suitable playing conditions and even where there are none. Art can be hidden everywhere! In the sand, the leaves of the trees, in everyday objects, in our dreams. The Playroom is seeking partnerships with those working to promote art education and creative expression and experiential children’s education, in all areas.
• We reinforce parents and children alike, to take time together on the occasion of art. Family visits to museums and art galleries, bring us close to different stimuli of all kinds of art and artists living and creating among us.
• We love history and we base our ideas through it. But we do not stand solely in the past, rather than creating in the present, alongside the children to whom the future belongs.Art is an important ally in life, through this one can express concerns, needs and feelings .it is a friend who can accompany us forever.
